The highly anticipated new album by stalwart metal/hard rock band Wrath of D-Day (aka D-Day) is certain to live up to its title and leave listeners “Shaken & Stirred” in the best ways. Comprised of eleven brilliantly written tracks by guitarist and lead singer Jimmy Himes and produced by legendary guitarist Nick Bowcott of NWOBHM core band Grim Reaper, “Shaken & Stirred” offers fans of a musical journey that pays homage to the riffin’ and rockin’ founding roots of heavy metal yet is fresh and relevant for today’s audience—and uniquely Wrath of D-Day.

Offering selections from the opening pedal-to-the-metal “One Foot in the Grave,” the thrashing and speedy “Don’t Get Me Wrong” to the eerie atmosphere of “Lucky Charm” and good ol’ riff-rock metal of the title track, “Shaken & Stirred” is D-Day’s most ambitious project to date. Recorded at Brick Shed Studios by engineer Carl Bleke, the album captures the band at their best, showing its prowess in the studio without losing the energy of D-Day’s live shows.

Expertly and energetically brought to sonic life by the band, which also includes Himes’ childhood friend and from-day-one collaborator Tommy Ufkus on drums and newest member, bassist, Michael Patterson, plus the inimitable Mr. Bowcott as a guest on lead guitars as well as in the producing chair, “Shaken & Stirred” by Wrath of D-Day is a perfect record for long-time fans of the band as well as a wonderful introduction for new fans looking for some great new music with real rock ’n’ roll swagger and banging metal power!
